If you can get past the hounds at the gate, Il Bastone is really a lovely place to be. A red brick, three-story residence near Yale campus, it’s the headquarters of Lethe House and holder of hundreds of years of occult knowledge.

On entry, you could enjoy a bite to eat in the kitchen, read a book in the grand parlour, or head up to the library. And if you’re coming from a ritual, snag some verbena soap, cedar, and palo santo from the apothecary to wash off the lingering stink of the Veil. Whatever you need, the house has you covered.
